Connecting with Doctors

The Doctors tab in Halo shows your connected healthcare providers. Connections are always initiated by your doctor—they send you an invitation, you accept, and then your health records sync and you can message securely.

  1. Check your email for an invitation from Aether (check spam if you don’t see it).

  2. Tap the link—it will open Halo directly (or prompt you to download it first).

  3. Review the invitation showing the doctor’s name, practice, and what data they can access.

  4. Tap Accept to connect (or Decline if you don’t recognize the doctor).

Once accepted, the doctor appears in your Doctors tab and can view your records. If the email link doesn’t work, open Halo and go to DoctorsPending Invitations.

When you connect, doctors can view your medications, conditions, allergies, lab results, immunizations, vitals, and documents. Currently all connected doctors see all your health records—granular sharing controls are coming in a future update.

The Doctors tab shows your connected doctors (with name, practice, last sync date, and a message button) and any pending invitations.

To message a doctor: Tap the Message button next to their name, or find them in the Messages tab.

To request an appointment: Open the doctor’s profile and tap Request Appointment (if available). This sends a message to their office.

To disconnect: Open the doctor’s profile, scroll down, and tap Disconnect. They’ll no longer see your records, but your message history is preserved (read-only).

Connect with as many doctors as you need. Each connection is independent—all can view your records, messages are private to each doctor, and data syncs from all their EHR systems to create a complete health picture.

You control your connections: you decide which invitations to accept and can disconnect anytime. All data sharing is HIPAA-compliant with end-to-end encryption.
