EHR Configuration
Cleo works with any web-based EHR system. This guide explains how to add and manage your EHR connections.
Adding an EHR
Section titled “Adding an EHR”-
Click the Cleo icon to open the side panel, then click Settings (gear icon).

In the EHR Links section, click Add EHR.

Select your EHR type from the list (Epic, Cerner, athena, eCW, MEDITECH, or Other).

Enter a friendly name (e.g., “Memorial Hospital Epic”) and your EHR’s web address.

Click the test button to verify the connection, then save.

When Chrome asks permission to access the website, click Allow.
Supported EHRs
Section titled “Supported EHRs”Cleo works with any web-based EHR, including:
- Epic (MyChart, Hyperspace Web)
- Cerner / Oracle Health
- athenahealth
- NextGen
- Allscripts
- eClinicalWorks
- Meditech
- And more
Multiple EHRs
Section titled “Multiple EHRs”If you work across multiple hospitals or clinics:
- Add each EHR with a unique name
- Cleo automatically detects which EHR you’re using
- Patient data from all EHRs is consolidated in the Hub
- Each data item shows which EHR it came from
Managing EHRs
Section titled “Managing EHRs”Enable/Disable
Section titled “Enable/Disable”To temporarily stop capturing from an EHR, go to Settings → EHR Management and toggle the Enabled switch.
Remove an EHR
Section titled “Remove an EHR”To remove an EHR, go to Settings → EHR Management, click Remove next to the EHR, and confirm.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Verify the URL in Settings is correct
- Make sure you granted site permissions
- Try removing and re-adding the EHR
- Cleo only works with web-based EHRs
- Check if your organization has web access available
- Contact IT about web-based options
